Photo of the week : Round #2

Creative process is wonderful. The people you meet, the things you see, the sparkling idea that comes !!

My serie of photographies « Round » is a way for me to see the world with the same shape than our eyes : the circle.

It was a new exercise for me because I had to imagine a rounded image from the real world through the squared frame of my APN.

So the challenge was very interesting, so I created 10 photographies on this serie.

To reach my level of sharpness and color fidelity I choosed the subligraphy technique to print theses photographies. It allows me to show these pictures without frame, you just have to buy it and hang it 😉

    Enjoy !

Photo of the week : Traffic Jam 2948

What will be the road traffic in the year 2948 ?

I try to give you an answer : more and more cars, some singular as the blue one !

« Traffic Jam 2948 » is a Fine Art Photography by Nicolas Ségard.

Que sera la circulation routière en 2948 ?

J’essaie de donner une réponse : de plus en plus de voitures, certaines singulières par leur couleur bleu !

Photo of the week : Win Freedom Berlin

Sometimes a place is very particular so that you have strong feelings and emotions when you capture this through your lens.

That was the case for this photo I shooted in Berlin, at the wall’s memorial. When you know how many lifes was broken because of this wall, how many lifes are now together because of the fall of this wall, then you can understand why I made this picture which contains both the dark of the past but also the hope for the future.

  • Photo of the week : the doors to somewhere

Photo of the week : the doors to somewhere

Sometimes your look up and you see strange things. This day I saw a building with doors open outside, usually it is outside but this one opens in a different way. That is perfect for my « Strange World » serie !

« The doors to somewhere » is a fine art photography by Nicolas Ségard.

Photo of the week : Quadrature #14

Quadrature is a serie of symetrical photographies. From my classical photographies I compose more dense compositions. Quadrature #14 let appear some blue sky between architectural elements. Finely it renders something of a spacecraft !

“Quadrature #14” is a fine art photography created by Nicolas Segard.

  • Photo of the week : Urban Depth

Photo of the week : Urban Depth

Urban Depth is very special for me.

It is one of my first artistic photographies.

I played with depth of field like never before and then appeared this white line between two dark sides…

You can see what you want. The more you look at this picture the more you will dive into my strange world !

  • Photo of the week : Traffic jam 2949

Photo of the week : Traffic jam 2949

Traffic jam 2949 represents my vision of the roads in 2949.

It is the result of accumulation, years after years, of these metallic machines.

They don’t move, perhaps because of petrol shortages.

Even it is not sure there are people into, where will be the Humanity in 933 years ?

If you look closely you will find the Back to the future ‘s GMC Delorean witch represents for me a wink of the Zemeckis’ movie through the centuries.

It is incredible but you can buy a new Delorean with its clean and timeless design !

And if you like this photo you can also buy one Fine Art print of this.
